She was saying one of her coworkers mentioned it's changing soon to where you need a doctorate instead of a masters. I tried researching, but I was having a hard time finding the right sources. Has anyone else heard about this at all? Last I heard a masters was the minimum depending on what you specialized. level 1 I'm in an NP program now. There's been talks for the "minimum" to be switched to doctorate for many years now. At the same time, it will still be many more years before some mandate like that is applied across the board. Even after you get your NP, it'll still be a while before the standards change.
