06-27-11, 09:16 PM Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: USA Posts: 10 Received 0 Votes on 0 Posts Leaky Shower Faucet (Tub Faucet) after Shower Turned off Hi everyone, New user here and first time home buyer. Hopefully I can get some assistance. We have a standard shower tub with a "pull up" diverter to move the water to the shower head. Our problem is that when we turn off the shower, there is a steady drip coming from the tub faucet (not the shower head). A plumber actually came in the first day and replaced the tub faucet and it was fixed for a few days however we are seeing the leak again tonight and it actually is a little worse. Any ideas on this? I'm amateur when it comes to plumbing but it seems like the leak depends on whether we shut off the shower a certain way. Sometimes, we'll turn off the shower and it doesnt seem to shut off completely, almost hearing a gas like sound. Could it be a problem with knob?
