Hey guys, so my job demands that I must work on a virtual machine through a remote desktop access, I use windows's mstsc. The thing is, they have come up with this horrible policy that is preventing us from copying and pasting from the VM to our own machine and vice-versa, claiming that is for security reasons, so that we don't steal code etc. That ruins productivity so much, everytime I need to copy a file over, I have to talk to one guy, he then copies it over, sends it to my, is really bad also when I am trying to copy a big SQL Query, or error from/to google. The VM does not have internet access. Has anyone ever been through this? Any way to bypass this? even text only copy-paste is a HUGE help!

It's still your Desktop PC so i guess you have Windows, because if you have linux you probably don't need this Basic guide. I use Minerstat. It's easy to setup, has overclocking Options, has a variety of miners and coins, it's free if you only have one PC you want to use it on and it has monitoring. And even an App wih remote control. I haven't found anything negative on them so I guess its fine. The actual mining software I lied. You still have to chose a miner. Minerstat is only kinda the middleman for the mining software.
