Hello all! This summer is time to insulate and properly set up the shop. Platform is a 24'x26' two car garage with 8' in front of the vehicles. I have ideas as to what I want but it's hard to fit everything while considering all factors. I need other perspectives and ideas here so whatever you have may be useful to fuel additional ideas so don't be shy! I do metal work, woodwork and automotive maintenance/custom work all in the same area. I am trying to figure out what others have done to separate metal dust from the wood dust while trying to keep it away from the rest of the items in the garage. The garage is home to other hobby storage as well including Construction materials: (plumbing, electrical, 2x4's, 2x6's and 4x8 sheet, etc). There are Gardening tools, chemicals some materials but much of the materials can tie in with construction materials and there is also Camping stuff including some prepping stuff. I presume that I will end up building enclosed storage along the top 2/3 of each side that runs along the vehicles and use the space below that for moveable work tables and miscellaneous moveable items.
